New York - Mrs. Annie Davis of 210 W. 147th St., Apt. 61, a native of Norfolk 
died August 5 in a hospital.  She was the widow of A. Davis and was a retired 
domestic engineer.  She was a member of Union Baptist Church of New York.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Tennie Grimes of Norfolk;  five nieces, and a 
nephew.

The body was sent to Graves Funeral Home, Norfolk.  A funeral was held August 
11 by Bishop Eugene Brown.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
