Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, December 13, 1992 
Iris Davis, of the 3400 block of Humboldt St., died Dec. 12, 1992, in a local
hospital.

Mrs. Davis was a native of Norfolk and had retired as a counselor with Substance
Abuse Services after 13 years. She was a member of Holy Temple United Holy
Church, Chesapeake.

Survivors include two daughters, Marvis Rutledge of Petersburg and Kim Green of
Virginia Beach; seven sons, Ronald Smith, Carl Davis, Byron Davis and Stacey
Davis, all of Norfolk, Donald Smith of Richmond, Michael Lee of Chesapeake and
Christopher Davis of Oceanside, Calif.; two sisters, Ruth Coefield of Virginia
Beach and Ethel Campbell of Chicago; and 12 grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Holy Temple United Holy
Church by Elder Steven Pierce. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The family
will assemble at the residence. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
