Norfolk - A funeral service for Mrs. Corrine Davis, 52, of 911 Mead road, was 
conducted Sunday in Morning Glory Funeral Chapel.  Burial was in Calvary 
Cemetery.

A Winton, NC, native, she was the wife of William Davis and a daughter of the 
late Charlie Lawrence and Mrs. Ida Lawrence.  Mrs. Davis was a member of First 
Baptist Church., Winton, and  worked for the Norfolk School system 15 years.  
She died Aug. 11 in a hospital.

Surviving, besides her husband, are a brother,  Joseph Lawrence of Suffolk, and 
two sisters, Mrs. Georgia Spratley of Norfolk and Mrs. Victoria Jollo of New 
York.
