Norfolk Virginian October 23, 1891
DAVIS – At residence of brother-in-law, E. A. Hitchings, 112 Queen street, October 
22d, 1891, at 9 (unreadable) a.m., BENJAMIN F. DAVIS, younger son of Benjamin 
Davis, aged 34 years.
His funeral will take place from residence THIS (Friday) AFTERNOON at 3 o’clock. 
Friends and acquaintances invited to attend.
