Virginian-Pilot February 23, 1905
The remains of Mrs. Carrie Davis, sister of L. M. Parker, of 12 Walke street, 
arrived in Norfolk Tuesday night from Philadelphia, where her death occurred on 
Monday. The funeral took place at the grave in Elmwood cemetery at 3 o’clock 
yesterday afternoon. The service was conducted by Rev. J. T. Riddick, pastor of 
Spurgeon Memorial Baptist church, Brambleton.
