Chesapeake - Mrs. Leona Wilson Davis, 71, of 2204 Mt. Pleasant road, died 
recently in a Norfolk hospital.  A native of Norfolk County, she was the widow 
of Daniel Davis and the daughter of the late Isaac and Mrs. Eva Wilson.  She 
was a member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, Virginia Beach.

She is survived by a son, Melvin W. Davis of Chesapeake;  two sisters, Mrs. 
Queenie Miller of New York and Mrs. Mary Harris of Yonkers, NY;  four 
brothers, Isaac Wilson Jr. of Mount Vernon, NY;  Cecil Wilson of Yonkers, NY;  
Lester Wilson of Bronx, NY;  and Curtis Wilson of Virginia Beach;  and two 
grandchildren.

Funeral service was held in Mt. Bethel Baptist Church by the Rev. Harold 
Cason.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Fitchett Funeral Home in charge.
