Norfolk Virginian August 1, 1893
DAVIS – At the residence, corner of Highland and Windsor avenues, Monday, July 
31st, at 1:35 a.m., ELIZABETH DAVIS, beloved wife of James Davis, aged 57 years, 8 
months and 28 days.
Her funeral will take place from residence THIS (Tuesday) MORNING at 11 o’clock. 
Friends and acquaintances respectfully invited to attend.
