DAVIS, FRANKLIN AUGUSTUS, SR – Suddenly, Tuesday morning, July 13, 1943, at 5 
o’clock, FRANKLIN AUGUSTUS DAVIS, SR., beloved husband of Mrs. Mary Tyson Davis, 
in the 49th year of his age. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral 
chapel of James V. Derry, 1920 Colley avenue, THIS (Thursday) AFTERNOON at 4 
o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
