NORFOLK — James L. Davis, 80, of 1111 W. Ocean View Ave., died Saturday in a 
Norfolk hospital. He was a native of North Carolina and was the husband of the 
late Mrs. Grace Davis.
He was retired from Norfolk & Western Railroad, and was an Episcopalian and a 50-
year member of Ocean View Masonic Lodge 335 AF & AM.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. L. P. Williams Sr. of Edenton, N.C.; and a 
brother, Jackson C. Davis of Rehoboth Beach, Del.
A funeral will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at graveside in Elmwood Cemetery. 
Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is in charge.
