Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch October 3, 1934
The body of Mrs. Mabel Cole Davis, widow of Leroy W. Davis, whose death occurred 
Tuesday morning at a local hospital, will be taken from the residence of her 
daughter, No. 1300 Monterey avenue, to Epworth M. E. Church, for funeral services 
Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock, with the Rev. Thomas A. Smoot, D.D., pastor, 
officiating. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
