NORFOLK — Mrs. Mildred Petree Davis, 86 of 1101 E. Ocean View Ave., the widow of 
Lovic Clinton Davis and a Norfolk native, died Monday in her home.
She was a member of Miles Memorial United Methodist church and its Nellie Church 
Bible Class. She was a lifelong Methodist.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Doris D. Thatch, Mrs. Allyn D. Green, 
and Mrs. Carolyn P. Britt of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. Helen P. Schaeffer of 
Norfolk and Mrs. Alberta P. Johnson of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren; and 
four great-grandchildren.
The body was taken to Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel.
A funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m.
