Virginian-Pilot December 30, 1915
The funeral of Miss Susie Davis will take place this morning at the residence, 900 
Park avenue, and will be conducted by Rev. J. T. Anderson, pastor of Park Place 
Baptist church, assisted by Rev. T. R. Reeves of McKendree M. E. Church. Burial 
will be in Elmwood. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Davis; 
three brothers, J. C., A. V. and W. A. Davis; five sisters, Misses Marion L., 
Sallie, Corinne and Pearl, all of Norfolk, and Mrs. H. L. Bruff of Baltimore. Miss 
Davis, who was 19 years old, was well known and esteemed in Norfolk. She died 
Tuesday afternoon.
