Wm. WEBBER PARALYZED. AND HER SISTER DIES SHORTLY AFTER IN NEW YORK. Saturday morning Mrs. Webber, wife of Mr. Wm. E. Webber, residing at the corner of South and Dinwiddie streets, was stricken with paralysis. Yesterday she was just a little improved. This is an exemplification of the adage that troubles never come singly, for early yesterday morning, Mr. Webber received a telegram signed by his nephew, that Mrs. Webber’s sister, Mrs. Vandalia Davis had died at 5:15 o’clock at her residence in Brooklyn. The deceased lady was originally from this city, claiming it as her birthplace and her remains will be brought here to be placed by the side of those of her kin. She was Miss Vandalia Hodges, daughter of Sarah and Solomon Hodges and married Mr. William Turner, who left her a widow. She then married Mr. George Davis, of the Navy, whose relict she was.
