A. J. Fryhoff, pastor of Friends church, officiating. Interment will take place in Elmwood cemetery, Norfolk. Pallbearers will be members of Fleetfoot tribe of Redmen. Honorary pallbearers will be Redmen and friends of the family. Mr. Davis had been a resident of the city 44 years, originally coming from Chicago. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ida Lee Davis; one sister, Mrs. Edward Tyler, Hollywood, Fla.; one niece, Mrs. A. S. Garrette, this city; and two cousins, Mark Davis, and Minnie Davis, both of this city. Mr. Davis was a member of Pasquotank lodge, Improved Order of Red Men, No. 8. He was one of the oldest barbers in point of service in the city.
