Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch May 7, 1936
Funeral services for William Byron Davis, 60, a former resident of Norfolk, who 
died Tuesday at Memorial Hospital, Richmond, will be held at the grave in Elmwood 
cemetery, Norfolk, Friday at 3:30 p.m., with Rev. Fred A. Bobbitt, pastor of Park 
Avenue Baptist church, officiating.
Mr. Davis was a resident of 605 West 22nd street and is survived by a niece, Mrs. 
F. E. Schmidt, of Portsmouth, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
