Virginian-Pilot January 22, 1945
DAVIS, MRS. WILLIE CANNON LAND. In a Norfolk hospital, Sunday, January 21, 1945, 
at 9 a.m., MRS. WILLIE CANNON LAND DAVIS, daughter of the late James C. and 
Catherine Woodhouse Cannon, and beloved wife of J. Emmett Davis. Funeral services 
will be conducted TUESDAY AFTERNOON in the funeral chapel of James V. Derry, 1920 
Colley avenue at 2 o’clock. Friends of the family invited to attend. Burial will 
be in Elmwood Cemetery.
