Norfolk - Elder Reginald Davis of 1032 Billings street, the husband of Mrs. 
Lydia M. Davis, died recently in a hospital after a long illness.  A native of 
Norfolk, he was the son of Mrs. Louise Kelly Davis and the late Samuel Davis.  
He was a merchant seaman and a member of St. Mary Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Besides his widow and mother, surviving are a son, Timothy Davis of New York;  a 
daughter, Mrs. Melva Peele, and a sister, Mrs. Nancy McConn both of Norfolk;  
and five grandchildren.

A funeral service was held in St. Mary Ppentecostal Holiness Church by Bishop 
Mary Johnson,  Hale Funeral Home was in charge.
