The Virginia Pilot Tuesday September 13, 1960
Enoch A. Davis Sr., 89, widower of Famey Lamberth Davis, died in a Norfolk 
hospital Monday at 5:30 p.m.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Barry of Long Beach, Calif.; 
two sons, Enoch A. Davis Jr., of San Jose, Calif. and Robert W. Davis of Silver 
Spring, Md., five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  A lifelong 
resident of Norfolk, he lived at 1274 W. 27th St. He was a member of Grace Zion 
Methodist Church and Elizabeth Lodge No. 34, AF&AM.
A funeral service will be conducted in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home at a time to 
be announced.

A funeral service for Enoch A. Davis Sr. will be conducted at Hollomon-Brown 
Funeral Home Thursday at 4 p.m. by the Rev. Sidney L. Willis, pastor of Grace 
Zion Methodist Church.  Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery with Masonic 
honors.
