Florence Blassingham Davis, 85, of Bedford Ave., died April 23, 1994, in a 
Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Davis was born in Norfolk County, Va. She had retired from the Credit 
Office at Smith and Welton's Department Store after 24 years. She was a member 
of Larchmont United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, William Henry Davis of Norfolk; a sister, Lena B. 
Moore of Norfolk; a brother, John W. Dudley of Richmond; five grandchildren, 
Joyce D. Zatarain and Leslie D. Warner, both of Mobile, Ala., Elizabeth Anne 
Davis and Margaret M. Ferry, both of Portsmouth, and Stephanie T. Little of 
Colonial Heights, Va.; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, James Laurance and Mrs. Blanche Britton 
Blassingham, and a son, William Henry Davis Jr.
The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Forest Lawn 
Cemetery by the Rev. Lewis H. Morgan and the Rev. Harry T. Broome. The family 
will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, today from 7 to 
8 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to Larchmont United Methodist Church, 1106 
Larchmont Crescent, Norfolk, 23508 or to a charity of choice.
