Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark May 20, 1925

Walter Alexander Davis, Jr., five-month-old son of W.A. and Mrs. Lelia 
Rogerson Davis, 816 Liberty Street, died Monday night at 10 o'clock at a 
local hospital after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home of E. Lee Cox, 124 
East Berkley Avenue, this afternoon at 2 o'clock.  Burial will be in 
Magnolia Cemetery.

Walter Alexander Davis, Jr.--Funeral services for Walter Davis, Jr., the 
five-month-old son of W.A. and Mrs. Lelia Rogerson Davis, 816 Liberty 
Street, were conducted at the funeral apartment of E. Lee Cox, 124 East 
Berkley Avenue, yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock.  The Rev. O.D. Poythress, 
pastor of the South Norfolk Christian Church, officiated and sang "Safe in 
the Arms of Jesus."  Burial was in Magnolia Cemetery.
