Davis and a native of Norfolk, died Wednesday in a hospital. He was a 28-year clerk employe of Chesapeake & Ohio Railway and a veteran of the Korean War. He was a Baptist. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Cynthia Purvis and Mrs. Yvette Newsome of Portsmouth; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Davis Drummond of Norfolk, and Mrs. Eunity Davis Mayes and Mrs. Rose Davis Johnson of Portsmouth; and two grandchildren. The funeral procession will beave Hale Funeral Home for Calvary Cemetery, where a funeral will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Thomas Steele.
