NORFOLK - Mrs. Sarah Davis, of 763 Fremont St. died Saturday in a nursing home.

A Nansemond County native, she was a daughter of Samuel and Mrs. Martha K. Williams
and widow of John W. Davis.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Bute Street, and Lily of the Valley United
Order of Tents.

Surviving are a son, Roland Davis; a daughter, Mrs. Martha J. Bond; a brother,
George Williams; and a sister, Mrs. Mattie Dodson, all of Norfolk; and three
grandchildren.

The body is at Graves Funeral Home.
