CHESAPEAKE - Arthur Davis of 744 Quail St., South Norfolk Borough, died Monday
morning in Hampton veterans Hospital.

A native of Norfolk, he was a son of the late Mrs. Lula Davis Mizzell.

He was a Navy veteran of World War I.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Mae Lankford, and two brothers, William Davis
and Charles Mizzell, all of Norfolk; two stepsisters, Mrs. Viola Vaughan of Norfolk
and Mrs. Vivian Jones of Chesapeake; and six grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in Graves Funeral Chapel, Norfolk
Burial will b in Calvary Cemetery.
