                      Norfolkian Dies While Visiting N.Y.

NORFOLK - Isaac Davis, native of this city and an employee of the Norfolk and 
Western Railroad for more than 30 years, died while visiting relatives residing 
at 1512 Armstrong Street, Amityville, L. I., N.Y., Oct. on 14 at the age of 72.
Davis, recently retired from active duty because of ill health, was well known 
in the city of Norfolk, was a member of the Bank Street Baptist Church and was 
affiliated with several fraternal organizations. Funeral services will be held 
Friday at 2 p.m. from Bank Street Baptist Church. Interment will be in Calvary 
Cemetery.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary L. Davis; two daughters, Mrs. Odessa 
Woods and Miss Dorothy Davis; six sons; 12 grandchildren; one brother, Ernest 
Davis; two sisters, one half brother, and other relatives.
