                Mrs. Josephine Davis To Be Buried Sunday

NORFOLK -  Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine Davis, 863 "A" Avenue, who died 
at her home Tuesday, Oct. 15, will be held at Metropolitan AMEZ Church at 1:30 
p.m., Sunday, Oct. 20, the Rev. W.O. Carson, pastor, officiating. Burial will 
take place in Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis was the widow of Thomas Davis and the daughter of the late Colraine 
and Eleanor Sessom. She had lived in Norfolk all her life.
She is survived by a son, Harry Davis; three daughters, Mrs. Lillian Williams, 
Mrs. Blanche Jones and Miss Maria Davis; and a sister, Mrs. Cora Colden Brooks.

Mrs. Josephine Sessoms Davis - The funeral of Mrs. Josephine Sessoms Davis,863 
Avenue C was held Oct. 20 at Metropolitan AME Zion Church with the Rev. W. O. 
Carson, pastor, officiating.  Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.  King’s Funeral 
Home was in charge.
