Virginian Pilot October 18, 1963

Mrs. Rosa S. Davis of 2814 E. Princess Anne Road died Wednesday in a hospital 
after a short illness.
A native of Norfolk, she was a daughter of Mrs. Addie Simmons and the widow of 
Oliver Davis. She retired from Norfolk Community Hospital after 16 years and was 
a member of First Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Airman 1.C. John H. Lamb Jr. of Dover Air Force Base, 
Del. and Airman 1.C. Raymond E. Lamb of Germany; two daughters, Mrs. Melvine L. 
Williams and Mrs. Thelda Howell of Norfolk; and seven grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held in First Calvary Baptist Church at a time to be 
announced. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick Funeral Service in 
charge.
