Virginian Pilot April 23, 1983

BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Alice Rose Davis, a native of Norfolk, Va., died Wednesday in a 
hospital.
She was an infant-nursing technician at a Brooklyn hospital for 24 years. She 
was a member of Queen Street Baptist Church in Norfolk and Baptist Temple Church 
in New York.
Survivors include a sister, Ella Davis of Norfolk. 
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday in Queen Street Baptist Church by Dr. 
J. Jasper Freeman. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home of 
Norfolk in charge.
The family will be at her sister's home, 2748 Liberia Drive, Norfolk. The body 
will be in the church at 11 a.m. Sunday.
