Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, April 18, 1995 
Helen C. Davis of the 3700 block of Colley Ave., died April 15, 1995, in a local
hospital.

She was born in Chesapeake and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and Usher
Board No. 2.

Survivors include a son, James Bowe; a sister, Hazel B. Johnson; two brothers,
Roosevelt Bowe and Harrison Bowe; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in Antioch Baptist Church by Dr. I.
Joseph Williams. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may join the family
at the residence. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Graves
Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
