Betty W. Davis, 76, of the 2600 block of Woodland Avenue passed away on January 1, 
2022 at her residence. She was born in Norfolk, VA to Norma Whitaker and the late 
Furman Williams. Betty was a Nurse Practitioner for Churchland Psychiatrics. She 
received her Masters of Science Degree and was a Board Member of Lake Taylor 
Transitional Facility. She was a member of Second Calvary Baptist Church where she 
served faithfully. Besides her father, she was also predeceased by her husband, 
Milton L. Davis. Betty leaves to cherish her memories her daughters, Kimberly and 
Ernestine (Derrick); sons, Kevin (Nicole), Kenneth (Rene) and Kelly; sisters, 
Eleanor (Charles), Furma, Chrystal, Kathy (Albert) and Glynis (Kevin); brother, 
Calvin (Jennifer); grandchildren, Keena, Kenneth, Kentrell, Kennesha, Bria and 
Jordan; great-grandchildren, Love, Kiara and Kayla and a host of aunts, uncles, 
nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. A funeral service will be held, 11 am, 
Monday, January 10, 2022, at Second Calvary Baptist Church, 2940 Corprew Ave, 
Norfolk, VA 23504, Rev. Dr. G.V. Guns, Presiding. Viewing will be held, 12pm-4pm, 
Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Metropolitan Funeral Service, 7246 Granby St. Norfolk, 
VA 23505. Interment will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery, 3000 
Church St., Norfolk, VA.
