 Norfolk Virginian Pilot December 26, 1938
Charles H. Davis, aged 73, husband of Mrs. Hazel M. Davis, died at a local 
hospital yesterday morning at 4:30 o'clock after a long illness. He was a 
native of Princess Anne County and had been a resident of Norfolk practically 
all of his life. Surviving him, besides his wife, are Mrs. Sallie D. Tadlock 
and several nieces and nephews.
The body will be taken from the Derry Funeral Chapel, Colley and Harrington 
avenues, to Elmwood Cemetery for funeral services this morning at 11 o'clock. 
The Rev. E.E. Renn, pastor of McKendree Methodist Church, will officiate.
