Davis, died
 in a 
hospital Sunday at 5 a.m.
A native of Fernandina Beach, Fla., he had lived in Norfolk 28 years. He was a 
member of Christ the King Catholic Church; Father Kealey Council 3868, Knights of 
Columbus; and International Longshoremens Association, Local 1624. He was a 
checker with the Longshoremens Association.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Edward O. Davis, Jr. and James W. 
Davis of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. T. V. Sanderlin of Norfolk and Mrs. T. M. 
Arrowsmith of Long Beach, Calif.; and a brother, George T. Davis of Fernandina 
Beach, Fla.
The body will be taken from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to Christ the King 
Catholic Church for a funeral service Tuesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. 
Mary's Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited tonight at 7:30 at the funeral home.
