Mrs. Fannie Davis of 1434 Bolton street died Monday, Sept. 28. She was 102 years
of age. Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church, Bute Street, of
which she was the oldest member, on Thursday, Sept. 25 at 2 p.m. with the Rev.
E. Paul Simms officiating.

The daughter of George and Julia Costes, and the widow of the late Fred Davis,
Mrs. Davis joined First Baptist church at the age of 12 under the the pastorate
of Rev. Mr. Black.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Bessie Robinson; two sons, Alexander
Bailey and Charles Davis; nine grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, three
nieces and other relatives.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
