Mrs. Eliza Davis who died last Sunday morning at her residence 116 Green street,
Portsmouth, was buried Tuesday afternoon in Mt. Olive Cemetery. The funeral was
held at the Pentecostal Church, Rev. C. A. Twine officiating assisted by Rev.
Mackey of Brighton Church and Rev. W. M. Mitchell and Rev. Ballard of Washington
DC. The elders of the church acted as honorary pall bearers. The active pall
bearers were: Messrs. John Riddick, Frank Jones, Wilson Fuller, Harry Elliott,
John Williams, George Fagan. There were many beautiful floral designs sent by
friends. Mr. Victor Small, Funeral director.
