Mrs. Anne Mackey Davis died Saturday, August 22nd, at her late residence, 906 
Cumberland street, after a brief illness. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. 
Mary E. Johnson and Mrs. Sarah Williams; two sisters, one brother and nine 
grandchildren. The funeral services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. McGowan, of 
John Wesley M. E. Church. The interment was held at Calvary Cemetery.
