Norfolk Virginian November 16, 1879

DAVIS - At Norfolk on the 15th of November, 1879, of typhoid pneumonia, Mr. 
MILES DAVIS, aged 33 years

                                Meetings
The members of the Christian Brotherhood are requested to meet at the Methodist 
Episcopal Church today at 2 p.m. to attend the funeral of the late Miles Davis.
The members of the Independent Order of Rechabites, especially Harmony Tent, are 
requested to attend the funeral of their brother Miles Davis at 3 p.m. at 
Methodist Protestant Church.
