Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, December 7, 1999
Rosa Davis, 92, of the 300 block of Judy Drive, went to her rest Dec. 5, 1999,
at Riverside Convalescent Center, Newport News.

She was born Jan. 8, 1907, in Norfolk County and graduated from Booker T.
Washington High School in 1932 and from Chicago Illinois School of Nursing as an
LPN in 1945. She worked as an LPN for 30 years, retiring in 1975 from Paterson
General Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Davis; her son, Aaron T.
Davis, and two daughters, Trumilla Gardner and Shirley William. Survivors
include four daughters, Augustine Spear, Delores Cooper, Martha Brown and Eunice
Porter.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Graves Funeral Home. Burial will be
in Calvary Cemetery .
