Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, March 3, 1999 
Ella J. Davis of the 600 block of Red Horse Lane died March 1, 1999.

She was born in Virginia Beach to the late Eugene and Louisa Chandler. The widow
of George Davis, she was a retired presser from Compeco Cleaners.

Survivors include her sister, LouEllen Riddick; a brother, John Robert Chandler;
a brother-in-law, William A. Riddick; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Riddick Funeral
Service by the Rev. Rufus Jackson. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The
family will assemble at Weiss Lane. Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at
the funeral home.
