A native of Atlantic City, N.J., he was the son of Elfreda Delores Durant Davis and the late Caulbert W. Davis Jr. Chuck, as he was affectionately known, was a computer programmer, and a member of First Baptist Church Bute Street. He was a very kind and friendly person who will be missed by family and friends alike. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted mother, Elfreda Delores Davis; three sons, Charles D. Davis, Timothy D. Bond and Caulbert W. Davis IV. He will also be sorely missed by his sister, Donna L. Sharpe and husband Ronnie; a niece, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Earl Strayhorn, the Kempsville Dialysis Unit and the Nephrology Associates of Tidewater, Ltd. A funeral will be held Saturday at noon in First Baptist Church Bute Street with the Rev. Dr. Robert G. Murray officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Viewing will be Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Riddick Funeral Service. The family will receive friends at the residence.
