                       DEATH OF MRS. GEO. H. DAWES

             Her Gentle Spirit Passed From Earth Yesterday

The death of Mrs. Virginia W.K. Dawes, wife of Mr. George H. Dawes, which 
occurred at her home, No. 311 Rose Avenue, Brambleton Ward, yesterday morning at 
4:45 o'clock, will cast a pall of genuine sorrow across the hearts of the many 
who knew and loved her for her womanly qualities, her pure and gentle spirit and 
her beautiful Christian character.
The deceased leaves a married daughter, Mrs. Williams. She was a sister of Mr. 
John C. Haynes and a daughter of the late William H. Haynes, of Norfolk County. 
The funeral will take place at 3 o'clock this afternoon from the residence.

DAWES - At her residence, No. 311 Rose Avenue, Brambleton, Monday morning, April 
26th at 4:45 o'clock, VIRGINIA W. K., wife of George H. Dawes. 
The funeral will take place from the residence  THIS (Tuesday) AFTERNOON, April 
27th, at 4 o'clock p.m. Friends and acquaintances respectfully invited to 
attend.
