Virginian-Pilot December 1, 1925
Claude Eugene Dawley, aged 53, died at his residence, 1114 Jamison avenue, 
yesterday afternoon at 12:35 o’clock. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Leona D. 
Dawley; his mother, Mrs. Ophelia Dawley; three daughters, Misses Alberta, Madline 
and Inez Dawley; four sons, Earl, Herbert, Ernest and Thomas Dawley; and one 
brother, L. L. Dawley, of Richmond. He was a member of Cherokee Lodge of Red Men 
and Lafayette Lodge of Odd Fellows.
Funeral services will be held at the residence tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. 
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
