Norfolk Virginian Pilot March 15, 1945

Luther Lee Dawley, 66, died at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. A.V. Hanbury, 
108 Buckingham Circle, yesterday morning at 1:15 o'clock.  Besides his daughter he 
is survived by a son, L.L. Dawley, Jr., USA and three sisters, Mrs. Agnes 
Etheridge, Mrs. Grace Hurst and Mrs. Mattie Bright, all of Norfolk.  Mr. Dawley 
was a native of Princess Anne County and had resided in Richmond and Norfolk most 
of his life.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow 
afternoon at 2 o'clock.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
