Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark February 18, 1923

Charles T. Dawson, 38 years old, died at 6:30 o'clock yesterday morning. He is 
survived by his wife and one child of Norfolk; mother, Mrs. Mary Dawson, of 
Rocky Mount, N.C.; three brothers, Frank G. Dawson, of Richmond; B.T. and M.B. 
Dawson, of Rocky Mount; three sisters, Mrs. E.C. Speight, of Rocky Mount, Mrs. 
M.S. Bennett, of Rocky Mount and Mrs. M.D. Edmondson, of Richmond. Funeral 
services will take place at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at V.H. Smith's Funeral 
Apartments, 631 Olney Road. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

DAWSON — Saturday morning, February 17, 1923, at 6:30 o'clock, CHARLES T. 
DAWSON, aged 38 years.
Funeral services THIS (Monday) AFTERNOON, February 19, at 3 o’clock from	
the funeral apartments of V. H.	Smith, 631 Olney Road, corner Manteo street. 
Friends of the family invited to attend. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
