Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - June 11, 1991

Melvin E. Dawson of the 200 block of E. 27th St., a driver, died June 8, 1991, 
in a nursing home.
Mr. Dawson, a native of Norfolk, was a Baptist.
Survivors include his mother, Lillie M. Dawson of Norfolk; his father, Melvin 
N. Dawson of New York; and a brother, Herbert L. Dawson of New York.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Twilight Funeral Home by 
the Rev. Albert Jones. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Friends may join 
the family at the home of Lillie Dawson, 816 Johnson St., and will assemble 
there at 10:30 a.m. for the procession.
