Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, August 29, 2007 
NORFOLK - Vicki L. Dawson , 51, went to the arms of her Lord Aug. 24, 2007, 
after battling a long illness with her family and friends at her side. A native 
of Tomah, Wis., she resided in the 3400 block of Thomas St. in Norfolk. She was 
an avid motorcyclist and Green Bay Packers fan.



She was predeceased by her mother, Rose Clatt June and is survived by her 
father, Duane June. Vicki is survived by her longtime partner of 23 years, 
Raymond R. Argabrite; four daughters, Cassie Commodore, Alice June, Jessica 
Commodore and Tera Neu; one son, Petty Officer Second Class Derek Dawson ; five 
grandchildren, Kayla Commodore, Ciera Neu, Haleigh Dawson , Dawson Commodore 
and Skylie Commodore; one brother, Mark June; one sister, Tracey Wojiehowitz; 
and a large extended family.



Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Norview United Methodist Church, 
1113 Norview Ave., Norfolk, officiated by Pastor William J. Shepherd. The 
burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, 238 E. Princess Anne Road, Norfolk. A 
gathering of friends and family will follow at the church after the services 
have been concluded.



Though she will be dearly missed, her spirit will be with us forever.
