Day, passed away at 9 o'clock yesterday morning in his home in Payne street after an illness of some months. The deceased was 20 years old and well known here. He is survived by five brothers and one sister -- Messrs. John, J.B., S.F., Charles and Edward Day and Mrs. E.R Parker, all of this place. He was a member of the Methodist church. The family formerly lived in Lynchburg, Va., but of late years resided here. The funeral will take place in the home this afternoon at 5 o'clock and the interment will be made in Magnolia Cemetery. Rev. W.H. Edwards, pastor of Memorial M.E. Church, will officiate at the services.
