SOUTH NORFOLK - Mrs. Annie Day, 76, of 1500 Portlock Road died Friday in a 
Norfolk hospital after a short illness.
a native of Newbern, N.C., she lived here 62 years.  She was the daughter of 
Joseph A. and Mrs. Elizabeth Agent Hill.  She was a member of First United 
Congregational Christian Church, Barretts Corner, Norfolk County.
She is survived by her husband, Fletcher S. Day; three daughters, Mrs. Cecil 
E. Stallings of South Norfolk, Mrs. Carl C. Neblett of Norfolk and Mrs. 
Harold B. Cronise of Fayetteville, N.C.; three sons, Fletcher S. Day Jr. and 
Grover A. Day of Norfolk and E. Ray Day of Elon College, N.C.; 13 
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted in Francis A. Gay Funeral Home today at 
4 p.m.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
