Virginian Pilot June 16, 1903

The funeral services over the remains of Mrs. C.R. Day, who died at her home at 
the corner of Virginia and Clifton Streets early Sunday morning, took place from 
the residence yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock, the Rev. W. Asbury Christian, 
pastor of Memorial M.E. Church, officiating. The deceased was born and reared in 
the city of Lynchburg, and had resided here a number of years. She was 47 years 
old and leaves a husband and seven children.
The interment was made in Magnolia Cemetery.
