Virginian Pilot Tuesday January 9,1906

The funeral of Daniel Deal, who departed this life at the family residence in 
South Norfolk Sunday afternoon, will take place this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock 
from the residence, and will be conducted by Rev. Q.C. Davis, pastor of South 
Norfolk Baptist Church.  The interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mr. Deal was in the seventy-fifth year of his age and was a native of Pasquotank 
County, N.C., but had for a number of years resided here.  He leaves a widow and 
six children to mourn his loss.
