CLEVELAND, Miss. — Arthur Edwin Dean, 56, died in Cleveland Friday,
He was a resident of Cleveland and a professor of mathematics at Delta State 
College. He was a retired naval officer.
He was the husband of the late Mrs. Marie Concetta Dean and a son of Mrs. Evelyn 
Lane Dean and the late Arthur E. Dean Sr.
Besides his mother, he is survived by three sons, Victor Dean of Bowie, Md., 
Michael Dean of Oxford, Miss., and Patrick Dean of Cleveland, Miss.; and two 
brothers, J. L. Dean of Arkadelphia, Ark. and L. L. Dean of Arcola, Miss.
The body will be taken from H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, to St. 
Mary’s Cemetery for a funeral service Tuesday at 2 p.m.
