Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, March 30, 1993 
Minnie White Deas of the 700 block of A Ave., a retired domestic worker, died
March 28, 1993, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Deas was born in Norfolk and was a member of New Hope Church of God in Christ.

Survivors include one daughter, Sarah Crocker of Norfolk; three sisters, Louise
Jenning and Dora Teigle of Norfolk and Elnora Everett of Portsmouth; one
brother, Russell White of Newark, N.J.; one granddaughter, Jeanetta Crocker of
Norfolk; three great-grandchildren; and one nephew, Herbert Bass of Washington,
D.C.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in New Hope Church of God in
Christ by Dr. Herman Clark. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may
join the family at the residence. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
